Focus on Abundance

Your mind is a powerful force. It is your most able servant, and it will produce for you whatever you focus it on. If you are constantly focused on scarcity -- worrying about not having enough money -- then your mind will create even more scarcity.

On the other hand, when you constantly think about abundance, and focus your thoughts on the gifts you already have and how you can make the best use of them, then your mind will help to create abundance for you. When you look at life as prosperous, it will be prosperous.

Nothing that’s external to yourself has the power to make you happy or unhappy. Your happiness depends on how you choose to feel about the situation you are in. Don’t fall into the trap of delaying your happiness by thinking “If I could only have _______, then I’ll be happy.” That kind of thinking will always deny you the abundance and happiness you seek.

The things in your life are here to serve you -- you are not here to serve them. The fear of not having enough will prevent you from seeing that you already are enough. The secret is to stop focusing on what you do not have, and shift your consciousness to an appreciation for everything you are and everything you do have.

Think about what you are worth. Not on a bank statement, but as a person. Think of all the possibilities open to you as a living, thinking human being. You are capable of greatness. Your worth is infinite.

What do you think you deserve? If you feel that you don’t deserve to be happy, then you won’t be. If you feel you deserve to take what you want at the expense of others, then that will also prevent you from experiencing abundance. You deserve ultimate happiness, and so does everyone else. And it is in the process of helping others, that you serve yourself and all others as well. Imagine for a moment that you possessed everything you could ever possibly want -- all the real estate, all the jewels, all the gold, all the luxury cars, homes, boats, planes -- anything and everything you wanted! Imagine that it was all at your disposal. Now imagine how it would be, owning all of this stuff, if there was not a single other person alive in the world. Not much point to it all, is there?

When you have a sincere desire to serve others, rather than to serve the “things” you think you want, then your abundance and prosperity will be unlimited.
