To get back my youth I would do anything in the world, except take exercise, get up early, or be respectable.

Past choices

Your past choices have brought you here. Now you have the opportunity to refine those choices.

You now know which choices have been beneficial and which ones have been harmful. You’re able, based on actual experience, to expand on what works and discard what doesn’t.

Of course that requires honesty and a healthy dose of humility. Though it’s humbling to critique some of the choices of your past, it’s a surefire way to benefit your future.

There’s no need to be ashamed about your prior poor choices or boastful about the ones that worked out well. Simply examine how they’ve affected your life and decide what to do with them going forward.

Get clear about where you want to go. Because every day, based on experience, you have more information on what will take you there.

Life is a series of choices. Fortunately, with each one you have the chance to get better at making them.
