The choice

You always have the choice to let your feelings go. You may enjoy the way you feel and if so, that’s great. Accept those feelings and continue to enjoy them. At other times, the way you feel may be holding you back. If that’s the case, accept those feelings, too, and then simply let them go.

Can you really do that? Of course you can. After all, they’re your feelings. They’re under your control. They’re not a part of you. You can choose to hold on to them or to let them go, whatever is in your best interest.

There’s no need at all to become a slave to your feelings. They control you only to the degree that you allow it. Allow them if it’s your wish. Drop them if that’s your wish.

Do you ever wish you didn’t feel a certain way? Then don’t. Do you ever wish you did feel a certain way? Then feel it! You can choose the way you feel. And the better you feel, the better your life will be.

So why would you ever want to perpetuate feelings of negativity and despair? I can’t think of a good reason. Can you? At any moment, you’ll feel the way you want to feel. So choose to feel great, and see what a positive difference it can make in everything you do.
