One thing

Focus and discipline are contagious. You can catch them from yourself. When you apply them to just one specific area of your life, they start to take hold in other areas as well.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by a lack of focus? Pick one thing, one disciplined effort upon which to direct your focus. Don’t further overwhelm yourself by attempting to fix everything at once. Select one area of improvement and make a total, absolute commitment to focus on it.

Then follow through, no matter what. That focus, that discipline, that solid commitment will soon spread far beyond the initial objective. For example, you might make the commitment to exercise 30 minutes every day. Stick with it, and you begin to understand firsthand the benefits of staying focused and disciplined, as your daily exercise routine dramatically improves your fitness and sense of well being.

When you make the conscious effort to approach one thing with focus and discipline, you naturally start to apply that same approach to other things. Discipline is contagious. Catch it from yourself!
