Sure you can

I could never speak in front of a large group. I could never lose that much weight. I could never take that trip. I could never start my own business. I could never sell anything. I could never, I could never, I could never.

How many “I could nevers” have you forced yourself to believe? Each one of them is a lie, a convenient vehicle you use to stay within your comfort zone.

I could never? Sure you can. When you can imagine it, you can do it. And anything that it’s possible for you to imagine yourself not doing, anything that you could put in your pile of “I could nevers,” is most certainly within your reach.

What “I could never” are you hiding behind? Imagine what can happen when you come out from behind it. Stop defeating your own dreams with “I could never.” Just the fact that you have to keep telling yourself “I could never” is proof that you would indeed like to do it.

So what are you waiting for? Sure you can. It will be difficult and scary and uncomfortable. Yet your dream is aching to be set free, and you’re the one who can do it. Sure you can.
