Positive experience

Have you ever had one of those days, or weeks, or months when everything seems to be going against you? Unfortunately, negative experiences will tend to compound into more negative experiences, unless you step in to break the cycle.

Make it a point to regularly do something positive, especially when things are not going well for you. It will help to turn around that negative momentum. Find something you can do, that you know will be positive. Just something as simple as taking a quiet, early morning walk can help to stop negativity in its tracks.

Expectations are based largely on past experience. And when your recent memory is full of negative experiences, you are likely to start expecting the worst. So inject a dose of positive experience. One positive hour can counteract weeks of negativity. Do something positive, and see how quickly it can brighten your outlook.
