Jobs that never end

With some achievements, you’re able to set a finite, measurable goal. When that goal is reached, you claim the reward and then move on to something else.

Yet some of your most important work is work you will never finish. Even so, it’s work from which you will always benefit.

Staying healthy and fit, maintaining good relationships, making a difference in your world, these are jobs that never end. And that’s a good thing, because they enable you to continue creating value.

Whether the goal is limited or ongoing, the reason to pursue success is not so you can reach the point where you stop the pursuit. The whole point of working to succeed is to position yourself for even more creative, productive, fulfilling effort.

When you keep on giving, you keep on living well. You have purpose, direction, energy, focus, and persistence.

Life offers opportunities day after day. Continue your good work without stopping, and continue to deepen your fulfillment.
