Willing to let go

Sometimes there’s nothing you can do. Sometimes the most positive action you can take is to move on.

That doesn’t mean you must be quick to give up. What it means is you must be willing to let go when that is appropriate.

Many things you can change, yet other things you cannot. Your ability to make progress depends on being able to see and to acknowledge the difference.

Your time, effort, and resources are best invested where you’ll have a positive impact. There is always much you can do to make life better, so put yourself in a place where that can happen.

If there’s something you can do, then persist in doing it. If there’s nothing you can do, and never will be, let it go.

Be realistic about what you cannot do. And give yourself time, space, energy for all the great things you can do.
