See for yourself
You can learn much from others, yet your most memorable learning comes from those things which you see for yourself. You can acquire knowledge from many sources, yet true understanding comes from those things which you experience for yourself.
You can visualize an apple, or view an image of an apple, or hear about an apple, or read about an apple. Yet nothing can equal the experience of actually eating a fresh, ripe apple.
Those things you experience for yourself, in your mind, in your body, in your soul, are the things which are truly real for you. The more you actually taste of life, the better that taste will become.
When was the last time you had the exhilarating feeling of being fully and completely alive? When was the last time your mind and your senses and your spirit came in direct contact with the world?
Touch it, feel it, smell it, experience it, live it, know it. Jump in, get your feet wet, get your whole body immersed in the awesome, real experience of being alive.
