A difficult task
What does it really matter if the task is difficult or complicated? If it needs to be done, it needs to be done. Difficult is mainly a matter of opinion, anyway. And you have the full and complete power to change your opinion.
When there is work that must be done, you can see it as a chore or you can see it as an opportunity to achieve excellence. You can fight against it or you can put the power of your effort and creativity into getting it done.
If you’re going to be doing it anyway, does it make any sense to torment yourself about it? Imagine how much more smoothly it would go if you could simply decide that it isn’t so bad after all.
Ironically, the willingness to undertake a difficult task makes it easier. The acceptance that things can be difficult makes them less difficult.
Is there something that needs to be done, something you’ve been putting off because it seemed so difficult? Imagine how great it would be to have it done. Imagine it, then start right in on it, willingly, cheerfully and with the highest of expectations. Not only will you make it easier, you’ll also make it happen.
