Overwhelm your troubles

For each and every seemingly negative aspect of your life, think of at least three positive things you have going for you. Put the balance in your favor. Tip the scales toward success and achievement.

For every bit of bad news you receive, challenge yourself to take at least three positive actions. Overwhelm the negativity and anguish in your life by moving yourself decidedly forward. For every negative circumstance, create a trio of positive responses.

Reacting negatively to negative situations only serves to put you into a downward spiral. When you allow troubles to get you down, all you do is empower them further. Does that make any sense at all? Instead, as problems come along, find a way to rejoice -- not out of foolishness or ignorance, but out of determination and hope.

Rather than sitting back and letting yourself be overwhelmed by difficulties, use your good sense out-overwhelm them with the good things which you most certainly have.
