Act like it

Do you wish to be financially independent? Then act like it. Do you wish to be a loving parent or spouse? Then act like it. Do you wish to be in great physical shape? Then act like it. Is it your desire to be a leader, an innovator, to be creative, to be respected, to be taken seriously? Then act like it!

Wishes are empty without action. The way you act will determine the reality of your life. People who act in a certain way will win on the playing field. People who act in other ways will make a lot of money, or have great relationships, or become leaders in their community. It is not all that difficult to see and understand which actions lead to which results.

The path that leads from the desire to the fulfillment is clear and undeniable. It demands intentional, focused and sustained action. You are just as capable of following that path as anyone else. Whatever you wish to be, or have, or do or experience, make a commitment to act like it and it will happen.
