Don’t listen to them

Consider that the limitations others place on you are really their own. Don’t believe those who tell you that you cannot do something. That is just their opinion. It is not your reality.

The world is full of successful people who were told time and time again that their dream was impossible. They chose not to listen. They chose not to burden themselves with the limitations of the people around them. They chose to make it happen in spite of their detractors.

As you move toward the fulfillment of your dreams, as you work with persistence and commitment, many of the people around you will want to pull you down, as if somehow they could pull themselves up by doing so. Pay them no heed. Get on with what you’re doing. You have chosen your path. You know what you’re doing, and you know you can do it.
