Freedom

Freedom comes not from living without a care, nor does freedom come from the absence of difficulty and challenge. True freedom comes when you can rise above those difficulties, when you can live with joy in spite of the never-ending challenges.

To be without a care, is to be apart from life. To exist without obstacles, is to miss out on the fulfillment that comes from achieving in spite of the hurdles which must be overcome.

If your freedom depends on an escape from responsibility, you will always be running, and not be free at all. Don’t deny your limitations. Don’t hide from your problems. Make the effort necessary to transcend them. Something will always be holding you back. Go forward anyway, and you will be free.
