You’re one of a kind
There is no one else, anywhere, who has your own special combination of skills, interests, contacts, knowledge, values and experience. You’re the only one there is. You have no competition when it comes to being you.
Anything you can do to more fully develop the unique person you are, will serve you well in all areas of life. What do you love to do? That’s probably what you’ll be most successful at doing. What things fascinate you and hold your interest? Those are the areas where others will value your perspective and insight. What is it that you MUST do, that you cannot not do? It is there that you will find the passion necessary to overcome any obstacle.
In this interconnected, de-centralized world it is more important than ever to be a unique individual. The opportunities to thrive and prosper by being just a “cog in a wheel” are fast disappearing. They’re being replaced by opportunities for people who are creative and resourceful, who can contribute their own unique perspective.
Let yourself be the person you are. That is the very best person you can be.
