Plain and straightforward
A to do list is a simple thing, yet it can be the basis for much accomplishment. A few words of encouragement won’t shake the world, yet they could profoundly improve someone’s life.
A little bit of ordinary forgiveness can make a big difference in the way you feel, in the way others feel. A small, positive, and well-ingrained habit may very well, over time, significantly improve the quality of life.
The little things matter. Simple actions and gestures can have great power.
Don’t dismiss an impulse just because it’s simple and obvious. Your intentions can be effective even when they’re not complex or sophisticated.
There are times when a elaborate plan is necessary. More often, though, a direct route is preferable.
Rather than overlooking what’s plain and straightforward, pay attention and give it real consideration. What seems like the right thing to do is very often precisely the best thing to do.
