Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes to be true.

The one that will

Accept your limitations. Then find a way around them.

Be realistic about what you can and cannot do. Then make use of what you can do to achieve what you intend to achieve.

Yes, the easiest, most obvious path might be blocked. But that doesn’t mean every path is blocked.

Instead of fighting and complaining about factors that can’t be changed, look for that other path. Instead of resigning yourself to defeat, push yourself to be innovative.

You won’t usually end up following your purpose in exactly the way you first imagined. Yet there are multiple avenues for fulfilling whatever drives you.

Your limits are there to guide you, not to stop you. If one way doesn’t work for you, find and pursue the one that will.
