Healthy challenges

Much of the value of what you push toward is established by the resistance you encounter. Your muscles grow strong by being challenged, not by being assisted.

The fact that any particular thing is difficult to obtain is what makes it worth having. Whatever comes with negligible effort has negligible value to you.

Those who wish only to take from life without giving to life end up with nothing worth having. Your potential is too valuable to waste it on such a foolish pursuit.

The best opportunity is not a situation that yields something for nothing. That is neither realistic nor sustainable.

Seek instead those opportunities that ask the most of you. They’re the ones from which you’ll gain true richness.

Go where the muscles of your body, mind, and spirit will encounter healthy challenges. That’s how you make life the best it can be.
