It is well to remember that the entire universe, with one trifling exception, is composed of others.

Buy in

Don’t be half-hearted about what you do. If you’re going to take on the job, make sure you buy in to the job.

Before you start, fully accept that the work must be done and that you’re the person who will do it. Then you won’t waste time fighting against yourself.

Convince yourself of the necessity, of your desire, of your choice to make the commitment. Then put all your focus and energy into honoring that commitment.

Spend your time making progress rather than making excuses. Fill your awareness with ideas and strategies rather than resentment and doubt.

You don’t have to like everything you do, or even completely agree with what it is or how it’s done. What’s important is that you accept responsibility, within yourself, to do it.

Do yourself and everyone else a favor. If you’re going to take on the task, then choose to do it wholeheartedly.
