Growing forward

Growth is almost always uncomfortable in some way. Refusing to grow, however, is in the long run much more uncomfortable.

So the choice is between the present-moment discomfort of growth and the future pain of stagnation. The most positive choice is choosing to grow.

It is natural to want to focus on your strengths and pretend like your weaknesses don’t exist. To grow, however, requires that you admit where you’re weak and then work to strengthen those aspects of your life and your work.

Growth feels difficult and yet it also feels good. It is truly satisfying to know that you’re moving forward in accordance with your own desire to do so.

This day and this situation offer valuable opportunities for you to grow stronger, more effective, and more positively directed toward real fulfillment. Choose to embrace and engage those opportunities now while you have them, even though they may be a little uncomfortable.

In this unique and pivotal moment, keep yourself growing forward. And as you grow, the positive possibilities will grow ever more magnificent in your world.
