A great way to feel

There is nothing that feels quite so good as knowing that you’ve made a positive difference. There is nothing that energizes you in quite the same way as a real and valuable accomplishment.

Take a situation that was unpleasant, unhealthy, dangerous or destructive, then turn it around, and you know you’ve really made a difference. Take a goal, a dream, a passion, then bring it to life, and that effort will in turn bring you to life.

The next few moments, the next few days, the next few years can be spent just getting by, just keeping up. Or they can be used to get things done, to make a positive difference, to reach real and meaningful accomplishment.

When you fall into bed after a day of focused, positive effort, you carry with you a sense of satisfaction that cannot be duplicated. And you wake the next morning to a brighter world.

When you have the choice between making the effort and sitting on the sidelines, choose to make the effort. When you find yourself dismayed at how things are, find a way to make them better.

Take the initiative, take action, take responsibility, and take the time to truly make a difference. Each time you do, the richness of life grows even more.
