Joys remain

There is a place where the joys remain. There is a place where the golden days, the precious moments, live on and on.

No one can tell you how to get to that place. Yet you know exactly where it is and when you are there.

When you are truly in that place you know that the joys exist beyond all circumstances, impervious to harm or decay. You do not merely believe or hope, you know.

The fleeting moments, the shallow artifacts of the world, will come and go. And through it all, the joys remain, always with you, somewhere.

Give your energy not to the anger, not to the frustration, not to the petty disputes, not to the empty pleasures, for these all quickly fade. Give your energy to the joys, for they remain.

In your heart you know what they are and from whence they come. And in your heart, the joys remain.
