Buck the trend

When things are looking bad, start looking for what is good. Because that is when you can use it most. When you’re feeling really lousy, start acting like you’re feeling great. And soon it will be true.

If everyone is busy complaining, get yourself busy offering genuine compliments and encouragement. And see what a positive difference you can make.

When the situation is at its worst, that’s a great time for you to be at your best. For it puts you in a position to create enormous value. If everything around you is going in the wrong direction, then there’s clearly something you can do. Move boldly and confidently the other way.

When the trend is negative, that sets up one of the best opportunities you’ll ever see. Buck the trend, turn it around, and the rewards can be immense.
