Your lucky day

Stop whatever you’re doing for a moment. Briefly set aside whatever you’re thinking about and consider this. Today is truly a special day because you are a part of it. You have the incredibly good fortune of being alive and living right here and right now. A universe filled with possibilities begins at the tip of your nose and extends out beyond anything you could ever imagine.

At this very moment, life is yours to live, the world is yours to explore, opportunity is yours to seize, experience is yours to relish. What a rich and wonderful situation you find yourself in!

Now, what were those problems that had you so upset a few minutes ago? Are they really such a big deal? Stop and put your life into perspective. Focus on those things that are truly important to you.

Sure there are problems. Sure there are challenges. Of course there are setbacks and disappointments. They are real and they are painful. Look at what you have going for you, though. Think of what it truly means to be you, to be alive, to be filled with possibilities. That is surely greater than any difficulty.

Today is indeed your lucky day. Keep that in mind as you make the very most of your spectacularly good fortune.
