The MONTHLY Motivator - September 2019

path

Authentically you

You’re not too old, too young, too rich, too poor, too big or too small, too outgoing or too shy, too ambitious or too lazy. You’re you, and you are just right. You’ve learned from what you’ve done and from the consequences you’ve experienced, and now you’re ready to move forward with that accumulation of wisdom. Instead of judging what and where you’ve been, put your focus on visualizing what you can now do. You are who you are, and there’s enormous value in that, and it’s time to give your own special gifts to life.

Your most important job is to be you. Because that’s something nobody else can do. Through your perspective, life is able to know and experience itself in a unique and valuable way. From your efforts, the world receives goodness that can come from nowhere else. You owe it to yourself to fulfill your best possibilities. And you owe it to all of life to express the beauty and the abundance in your own unique way. You’re not here to merely be the same as anyone else, and you won’t really find any satisfaction in doing so. The greatest gift you have to give is in the living of your most deeply held values and desires.

There are contributions you can make, and gifts you have to give, that no one else can duplicate. You have a perspective that is unique and valuable. Share the insights and energy that come from that perspective. You have feelings and longings that flow from the core of who you are. Express those feelings and fulfill those longings in your own special way.

There is great treasure in your authenticity. There are beautiful possibilities that spring from the genuine person you are. Live true to the best of who you are. Let your own bright and distinct light shine. Use the opportunity of each day to make a difference in a way that only you can do.

It does you no good to become highly skilled at pretending to be someone you’re not. Be you, enjoy it fully and authentically, and spread the joy around. Don’t waste a lot of time and energy trying to do what you think might impress others. Be you, live what you love, and be impressed yourself at all the great things life has to offer. It doesn’t take a whole big complicated set of circumstances to bring you the life you want to live. It just takes a little honesty with yourself, about yourself.

Let go of the pretenses and worries. You are perfectly positioned to have a positive and unique impact on the world. So instead of fretting about being too much of this or that, just accept the way you are at this moment in time and do something wonderful with it all.
