Find your passion

Passion is what enables you to live your dreams. Passion can take something you’re interested in, something you’d like to do, something that seems like it would be nice, and turn it into reality. Passion takes your dream and brings it to life.

You can have all the skills. You can have all the resources. You can have all the time, you can have all the knowledge and all sorts of great connections. Yet if you don’t have passion, nothing is going to happen with all that stuff.

Or, you can have nothing. You can have not a cent to your name. You can have no knowledge of how you’re going to do what you intend to do. You can have no connections with anybody, and you can be limited in the time available. And yet, if you’ve got passion, then you’ll find a way. You’ll find a way to get the resources. You’ll find a way to meet the right people. Your passion will connect you with them. Your passion will connect you with the energy and the time and the money and whatever else you need to get the job done.

The passion, if it’s authentic—and that’s the only kind of passion there really is—your passion will connect you to whatever it is you require. You can’t be truly passionate about something you don’t care about. By very definition it’s impossible. You cannot be passionate unless it means something to you.
