Christmas

On this Christmas Day 1997, more than 1,700,000,000 people will celebrate the birth of a baby who came into this world 2,000 years ago. All over the planet, people will pause in joyous observance of this one life which has made such a major difference in the world.

The ministry of Jesus Christ lasted no more than 3 years, yet the moral sincerity of that ministry resulted in a momentum which continues to grow after 20 centuries, and which has exerted a profound influence in every corner of the world. In just a short time, with focus, commitment and absolute integrity, one man of modest means planted the seeds that would significantly impact the course of civilization, and touch billions of lives.

It is a success story of magnificent proportions. And it started not with a great fortune, or a great army, but with the passion, truth, love, commitment and sacrifice of the child who was born in a manger.

May the joy, peace and hope of Christmas touch your life today.
