You get what you accept

Your life is under your control, whether or not you choose to exercise that control. It is your responsibility. The things that “happen” to you, are miniscule in significance compared to what you do about them.

When you’re unwilling to accept anything but the best, then you will do whatever it takes to bring out the best in any situation.

Live each day with the attitude that you get what you’re willing to accept, that you get exactly what you deserve, and you’ll like what you get. The more responsibility you shoulder, the more things will go your way.

If you’re willing to accept responsibility for just your tiny little corner, then things will be to your liking in just that tiny corner. When you consider the whole world your responsibility, then the whole world will go your way.

Let it go, and get on with your life. Turning the other cheek benefits you more than anyone else.
