Best consequences

There are desirable consequences and there are undesirable consequences. For the desirable ones to be possible, the undesirable ones must also be possible.

The prospect of failure is what makes success achievable. Risk and reward are both part of the same dynamic.

You take action, or fail to take action, and your choice creates a specific result. You work with competence, effectiveness and focus, or with carelessness and resentment, and the outcome is based on your input.

The fact that you are subject to consequences means you have influence over the way life unfolds. Consequences deliver their inevitable results, and you are able, to a large degree, to determine what those results will be.

A life with no consequences would be a life with negligible meaning, with no opportunity for fulfillment. Fortunately, consequences are unavoidable, and you can choose your consequences by choosing your actions.

Good things, and not so good things, happen for a reason. Embrace the many opportunities to make your consequences the best they can be.
