The meaning

The meaning is in the effort. The meaning is in the sacrifice.

The meaning is in the investment of your time and attention. No shortcut exists to a life of meaning and fulfillment.

You cannot steal meaning, or borrow it, or assign its creation in your life to someone else. It comes from how you live from moment to moment, what you do, the extent to which you give of yourself.

Waving someone else’s flag might appear to be meaningful. Yet the meaning does not come from the flag, but from your personal investment in whatever it represents.

Rather than wishing for meaning, make it with your muscles, your mind, your desire and commitment. Instead of futilely seeking to get it for nothing, create meaning from everything you have.

You are filled with the potential for meaning. Orient your thoughts, your moments, your priorities and actions to continue fulfilling that great potential.
