Make courage a habit
There will come a time when you’ll need to call upon your courage. So exercise it now, and every chance you get, to keep it as strong as it can be.
Courage is not an absolute necessity in every situation. And it can often be easier to keep your courage suppressed.
But that’s not an ideal habit to get into. Because sooner or later you’ll have to rely upon that courage.
When the occasion comes, you’ll be best served by your courage if you’re well accustomed to how it feels. Make courage a habit, make it your default response, and you make it more powerful.
That doesn’t mean you have to dominate others just for the sake of doing so. It does mean you must seek to do what’s right, what’s best, to speak the truth, as much as you can.
Live with your courage close at hand. That way it’s always ready to be called into action.
