Art for art's sake, with no purpose, for any purpose perverts art. But art achieves a purpose which is not its own.

Worth the trouble

Really, it’s too much trouble? Or is that just an easy excuse?

If you think it’s too much trouble, ask yourself this. Will your alternative activity produce as much or more value?

If not, then it’s well worth going to the trouble. Because your actions will bring tangible rewards.

Whatever effort and trouble you must exert will not last forever. However, an opportunity not seized in the moment will indeed be lost forever.

Perhaps it’s a bit uncomfortable, a little inconvenient. Yet those are small prices to pay for making progress, creating value, getting good things done.

Some undertakings very likely are not worth the trouble. For everything else, don’t let the prospect of spending a little time and effort scare you away from the gains you’ll be able to make.
