Teach yourself purpose
Even a seemingly trivial purpose has value. Because it gives you a distinct objective around which to focus your thoughts and actions.
A profound and deeply meaningful purpose is great. Yet a frivolous purpose is much better than no purpose at all.
Zero in on a purpose and follow it until you’ve fulfilled it. That builds in you the skills of purposeful living.
As those skills grow, you can apply them toward bigger and better purposes. The more you experience purposeful achievement, the more you’ll be able to achieve.
Instead of waiting for life to come to you, decide on a specific objective for the next hour, day, or month. Then commit yourself to making it happen, whatever it may be.
Teach yourself to be purposeful. And the benefits of what you learn will flow throughout your whole world and your entire life.
