Not just trying

If you see yourself as merely trying, you cast your efforts in a weak, ineffective light. When you think what you’re doing is just trying, you surround your efforts with doubt.

See yourself instead as achieving, every step of the way. Feel the sure and solid connection between what you’re doing and the goal you intend to reach.

In fact, every action gets you closer to that goal. So every action is a key part of the achievement.

You deserve success, so go ahead and claim it as you work your way there. Give each thought, each decision, each action the benefit of confidence.

You’re not just trying, after all. You’re allowing the achievement to unfold through your actions.

So keep it up, with the highest of expectations and enthusiasm. Your achievement is already well underway, and you’re sure to make it all happen.
