Shining positive example

Don’t let the negative opinions, attitudes, and choices of others get you down. Make your own choice to follow a positive, productive and meaningful path forward.

Don’t let yourself be angered or frustrated by the carelessness or incompetence of the people you encounter. With your own relentless commitment to excellence, raise those encounters to a higher level.

Generously and sincerely offer your encouragement, but don’t become dismayed if that encouragement is not immediately embraced. Do what you know is good and right and effective, even when there are few who understand and support you.

There’s no need to compromise your values in order to get along with others. You can be genuinely kind, understanding, compassionate and helpful while also staying true to who you are.

Let the negativity of others inspire you to live each moment of your own life as a shining positive example. Make the whole world better by being your best.

Life is much too precious, and too full of great opportunities, to get mired in the negativity you encounter. Choose to rise above it, and encourage everyone else to come along.
