The next moment

Even when you have been angry and filled with anxiety in one moment, you can be peaceful and accepting in the next. Even when one moment has been filled with dismay, the next moment can be full of hope.

Each moment arrives with its own new possibilities. Each moment is an opportunity to move forward, no matter where you may have been.

If you’re already heading in a positive direction, the next moment gives you the chance to move even more decisively that way. And if you’re slipping backwards, the next moment offers the promise of turning things around.

If you keep yourself always focused on the last moment, on what has already happened, you can quickly get stuck going nowhere. Yet as soon as you put your energy into making the next moment the best it can be, you can begin to move rapidly ahead.

The next moment begins right now. The past is now over and it is time to move in a positive, fulfilling direction.

The next moment is here and is filled with countless positive possibilities. Begin right now to make the best of them yours.
