Out of the way

The difficult tasks will go much more easily when you get them over with first. Waiting until the last minute to get the tough things done will only make them much tougher.

If you do the pleasant, enjoyable things first, you cannot fully enjoy them. Because in the back of your mind you know that the difficult tasks are still ahead.

Yet when you get the difficult, unpleasant jobs out of the way early, you earn yourself a wonderful sense of freedom and control. You can then completely enjoy doing those things you truly want to do.

Get started early and get the tough stuff out of the way. Then, instead of wasting your time worrying about it, you can fill your time with enjoyable, productive, creative pursuits.

You cannot make the unpleasant tasks go away by simply avoiding them. The way to make them go away is to get them done.

Get in the habit of getting the difficult things done first. It will add many more enjoyable hours and days to your life.
