To get back my youth I would do anything in the world, except take exercise, get up early, or be respectable.

Able to adapt

When the world changes, as it constantly does, you can make the most of it. When things don’t turn out as expected, that does not have to throw you off course. Because you have the powerful ability to adapt. You can assess the situation, make some adjustments, and continue moving forward no matter what.

Adapting to changing conditions is not a matter of compromising your values, your purpose, your dreams or your goals. Indeed, it is often the ability to adapt that enables you to maintain those values and to reach those goals.

Many things can throw you off course, even with the best of planning. Yet there is always a way to adapt, to adjust, and to keep right on going.

When you find yourself heading in the wrong direction, no matter what the reason may be, it’s not the end of the world. Rather than worrying or fretting, complaining or blaming, put your energy into adjusting your approach and get headed back toward where you want to go.

Every change can have a positive outcome when you’re willing to adapt and move forward.
