Get it done

The more you desire to put off an unpleasant task until later, the more reason you have to do it right away. If it’s really all that bad, then go ahead and get it over with.

The longer you wait, the more unpleasant it will become. The sooner you get it done, the more enjoyment you’ll get from having it behind you.

If there’s something you’ve been putting off, then think real hard about all the reasons you’ve been avoiding it. You’ll clearly see that every one of those reasons will grow even worse for each moment you delay.

Consider how lousy you feel that it has to be done, and then imagine how great you’ll feel to have it behind you. Know that it can indeed be behind you as soon as you’re ready to make it so.

Free yourself as soon as possible from a needless burden. Go ahead, get it done, get on past it and enjoy the thrill that comes from moving quickly ahead.
