Maximum return
Think about your priorities -- not the ones you claim to have but the ones you actually support with your time, your thoughts, your actions and your commitment. Where are those priorities leading you? Who are you becoming as a result of them?
Are your priorities trapped in the comforts of the moment? Or are they pushing you to soar ever higher? Five years from now, your life will faithfully reflect the priorities you hold today. What kind of life will it be?
Following your highest dreams is really no more difficult than following your most superficial whims. Every moment you put forth an effort in one direction or another. The difference is not so much in the amount of effort. The difference is in the direction of that effort. Talking with a prospective customer takes no more effort than chatting with a friend about the game last night. Yet the long term results can differ substantially.
Whatever your priorities may be, you will spend time and effort to go through this day. Choose your priorities wisely, and get maximum return from your investment of today.
