In every work of genius we recognize our own rejected thoughts; they come back to us with a certain alienated majesty.

Make it fun

The more you enjoy the work you do, the more successful you’ll become at doing it. When you enjoy your work, you put your own special value into it. That causes it to yield even more value in return.

There’s no need to wait for your fantasy job to come along in order to enjoy the work you do. Whatever you’re doing, the main ingredient in making it enjoyable is your attitude.

There’s a widely held assumption that work is not fun, that it is some kind of punishment. That assumption is not shared by the most successful people in this world. Those who can find a way to make any kind of work enjoyable are the ones who accomplish great and astounding things.

What’s the difference between working and enjoying yourself? There doesn’t have to be a difference. Look at your work, whatever it is, as an opportunity for enjoyment. See how much more effective and satisfied you become.
