The point of life is to actively participate. Struggle and fulfillment cannot be separated.
Avoiding any and all possibility of pain makes pleasure meaningless. What you’re willing to give determines what you’re able to gain.
The world is a messy place. The real rewards come not by avoiding the mess, but by successfully navigating through it.
Every frustration, every disappointment, every setback can add to the value of your eventual triumph. What pushes against you compels you to give your best.
In the messiness, in the difficulty, that’s where great opportunity is found. Play an active role in putting forth the necessary effort and persistence to bring that opportunity to life.
