Be easy to do business with

Utilize the technology available to you but not to the point where it is too complicated for your market. If something is going to be too complicated for people to do, don't do it. You want to make it easy to do business with you online, not difficult.

Answer your email promptly. Give clear, concise information to people. Make the links on your Web site easy to understand and to follow. Don't confuse people. Make your information easy to access and to understand.

Be patient

Be patient about your online efforts. Don't give up to soon. It will take a while to get yourself established online. In addition, it will take time with each customer. Avoid the temptation to "hose down" every who requests information. Be patient, and supply your information in small, easily digested doses.
