Quit now, you'll never make it. If you disregard this advice, you'll be halfway there.

Slow hours, long years

by Ralph Marston

Let your actions today be worthy of all you’ve been through. Honor the substance of what you’ve experienced with the choices of what you do.

You’ve spent thousands of days to get here. Now, make all that time and effort continue to count for something good.

You’ve endured pain, challenge, disappointment, frustration, confusion. You have worked your way through all sorts of situations to get to this moment.

Along the way you’ve gained strength, wisdom, experience, a deeply ingrained understanding of what works, what doesn’t, and why. This is your chance to put it all to use, to continue creating positive, meaningful outcomes.

Even your past regrets can serve you well as your future continues to unfold. You’ve learned great lessons from all the living you’ve done, and you’re well equipped to give life more richness than ever before.

The slow hours and long years have earned you a unique, sizable advantage. Exercise that advantage in the service of purposeful goodness, and it continues to grow in power and benefit.
