Set it right

by Ralph Marston

Ok, you’ve noticed a problem, or a potential problem. Move beyond noticing and start acting.

If your only response is to worry about it, that worry accomplishes nothing. So get past the worry and get to work on something that will improve the situation.

Your wisdom and experience enable you to anticipate what could go wrong. But that ability is wasted if it merely leads to endless worrying.

A much better choice is to adequately prepare yourself for the troubles you foresee, or act to prevent them entirely. Utilize the leverage of time while you have it, rather than wasting it on anxiety and fear.

When you find yourself worrying, let it prompt you to consider your options. Transform the energy of worry into energy for effective action.

It’s great to notice when something is amiss. Now get busy and set it right.
