Choose one

by Ralph Marston

You can’t possibly do everything. But that should not stop you from doing anything.

It’s true that going with one option will limit your access to other options. So you must focus on what you’re doing rather than on what you’re missing.

Don’t let yourself be intimidated by the abundance of good possibilities. Choose one, with no regrets, and follow through on reaping its rewards.

Instead of agonizing endlessly over making the optimum choice, quickly decide on one that’s good enough. Allow your high standards to inform you without letting them immobilize you.

Keep your desire to move forward stronger than your fear of missing out. Prioritize action over indecisiveness.

Possibilities become worthless if they’re hoarded. Have the confidence to put them to use.
