Possibility of success

Sometimes the work you do brings the result you seek. Other times it doesn’t.

It’s true that when you take action, success is not guaranteed. However, if you decline to act, failure is absolutely guaranteed.

So you’re left with a choice between the possibility of success and the certainty of failure. Though success is only a possibility, and you have to work for it, doing that work is your best option.

The more you choose that path, the higher your odds of success. With time and persistence, the possibility of success approaches near certainty.

It’s natural and understandable to get discouraged when you put effort into something that doesn’t work out. Remind yourself at those times that even though you ended up with the wrong result, taking action still was the right choice.

Then, with more wisdom and experience than before, pick yourself up and make a fresh new effort. Keep choosing that possibility of success, and you’ll find a way to make it happen.
