The Daily Motivator message for Momentum of its own One thing leads to another, then another, and yet another. So when you do one thing, make sure it is a good and worthy thing. When you launch any particular behavior, there’s no way to know how often and how widely it will be repeated. That’s plenty of reason to always be on your best behavior. An act of kindness is likely to inspire another act of kindness. Courage, competence, discipline, and generosity all carry the possibility of being imitated and spread widely. It’s nearly impossible to directly control the conduct of other people. Yet it is easy to lead by example and to inspire positive actions by those around you. Before you act, consider what would happen if your action were to take on a momentum of its own. Then do whatever would make sure that eventual momentum becomes a positive force. Many of your choices go far beyond you. Give them the ability to travel well. © 2026 Ralph S. Marston, Jr.From The Daily Motivator website at http://greatday.com/motivate/260617.html |
