Good thoughts are no better than good dreams, unless they be executed.

Make use

by Ralph Marston

Endless relaxation is not relaxing. Avoiding any possibility of stress eventually becomes stressful in its own right.

Your skills, your thoughts, your time and resources, your life, all have meaning to the degree you make use of them. Every form of richness is ultimately valued not by what it is but by what you do with it.

Exert yourself, and feel your remarkable capabilities as they enable you to make a difference in the world. Deepen your visceral understanding of what it means to be alive, active, aware, and fulfilled.

There’s much you can gain from observation and contemplation. Yet all that wisdom can quickly grow stale if it doesn’t regularly result in participation.

You have a deep-rooted desire to experience yourself being useful. Embrace new opportunities to satisfy that desire.

Discover how profoundly and reliably your enjoyment of leisure and your satisfaction with labor nourish each other. Live the balanced, fruitful, rewarding life you were born to know.
