The Daily Motivator message for Acknowledge reality What you fear can become less fearful when you acknowledge it. What you regret can become less regrettable when you acknowledge it. Acknowledgement doesn’t make bad things go away. Yet it can clarify and limit those bad things. By specifically acknowledging a difficult reality, you are able to put it in its place. You transform it from an overwhelming, nebulous, negative feeling into something more defined and manageable. The very act of giving a name to something provides you a degree of control over how it affects you. The act of acknowledging a situation enables you to begin dealing with that situation. As much as you might wish for something not to be true, those wishes don’t have any power. You, however, do possess much power, and you can successfully use that power to shape your reality. To do so you must first acknowledge what is true. Then you can get to work and make the truth more favorable. © 2026 Ralph S.
